    These are amazing These work great for dry mouth. I was having a problem waking up at night with my mouth as dry as a desert. It got so bad that my teeth were becoming ultra sensative to any change in temperature. With these tablets I am able to sleep all night long and my mouth is no longer dry and my teeth no longer bother me. It takes a while to get use to having them in your mouth. I have been using them for a few weeks now and I am still not use to putting them in my mouth. They don't melt real fast which is good becuase this keeps your mouth moist while you sleep. Sometimes in the morning there is still some of the tablet left in my mouth. I like the mint flavor that I have in my mouth when I wake. All in all these are far more than I ever hoped for. 5The Best of Class I am a head and neck cancer survivor. My treatment included radiation to the neck and throat area which totally destroyed my saliva glands along with the tumor on my tonsil. I have tried dozens of products to provide some kind of moisture to my mouth and throat. There are good products out there, but in my opinion, nothing compares to XyliMelts. These tablets last along time, don't burn because of added mint flavor, stick to your cheek or gums, and most importantly, provide hours of precious moisture to my mouth. I use them day and night. They are especially helpful at night and allow me to sleep through the night avoiding the need to sip water through the night. They are reasonably priced, especially when included on automatic shipment with other items I buy regularly. I have been using them for years and cannot recommend them more highly. 5The BEST Dry Mouth Helper I Could Find I have literally tried everything! Lots of dollars spent on products for dry mouth which leads to burning mouth syndrome for me. This product OUTDID the three RX for $149 (with insurance paying some) from my ENT doctor. It takes a few days, but give it a chance. Let that suction cup side stick well and go about your business. It really does help, right now I am free of burning mouth and dry mouth. I will probably have to use this product off and on for a long time, but that is fine. I will continue to purchase this. By the way, at first I was hesitant to buy the mint kind. Well, it is as great as the plain kind. Try either one. I have the most unusual reactions to RX, and this little product has saved the day for me. 5Great for dry mouth at night. You really can't go wrong! These things have changed my life to the point that I can easily say I don't know what I'd do without them. I had bad dry mouth just by default, but when I started different medications (stuff for anxiety and depression, which is no big deal and if you're having any issues get help! There's no shame in mental illness!) that made the dry mouth worse, and these things just rock. I think they're really doing a number to protect my teeth at night, and I wake up without an insanely dry throat and mouth, not gasping for water. However, they do not last the entire night for me. A good 20-30% more coverage would be nice. But since these have helped me so much, I'm not gonna knock a star off because of that, they're still the best out there. I recommend if you have any dry mouth issues at night to buy these! And subscribe and save because they can get a bit pricey after a while. Hope you find relief soon! 5Dry mouth begone!Dry mouth begone! I found this product to be effective for temporary relief of dry mouth syndome, especially at night. I place the disc, as directed, on the upper gum just before retiring for the night. I've not had an issue with the disc releasing during sleep. It stays in place until it dissolves. As the disc melts it releases a thick coating that brings relief to the dryness. The taste is light and pleasant. I've tried other proudcts, gels, sprays, mouth wash, etc, but nothing temporarily relieves my dry mouth issues like XyliMelts. I have used this product for over a year.5A GodsendI have dry mouth due to Sjogrens syndrome, which has been getting worse the last year or two. I tried Biotene products, (gel, mouthwash, spray, gum) plus some other remedies to no avail. This product is the first I've tried that actually WORKS, especially at nighttime.The directions suggest using two of the melts, but I find that one does the trick. They stay in place firmly once they are applied. No worries about it slipping or causing choking, etc. I no longer wake up with a parched mouth, at least to the degree I used to. Sometimes I actually wake up to find myself drooling. Which, for someone with dry mouth is actually a nice thing to experience.I find for nighttime use, the mint melts tended to upset my stomach, but the non-mint is perfect (I do like the mint product for daytime use). One melt lasts several hours, not all through the night, but enough that I am not waking up with cotton mouth.I like Xylimelts for daytime use as well. They last a shorter period of time when speaking or such throughout the day.I heartily recommend this to someone with dry mouth. It's a very unpleasant condition to have, and these make it tolerable.5Best thing I've found These work great for combating medication-related dry mouth. In my work, I have to speak in front of groups and then interact individually with participants afterwards. Dry mouth sprays, toothpaste or mouthwash is effective for a short time, but none of them can be used in a professional setting. Lozenges or mints would interfere with my ability to speak clearly and a presenter can only take so many sips of water before that would become a distraction. These have been great. I can put one or two in my mouth before I begin and they last well for the entire time. They tuck in neatly between my cheek and gums and don't interfere with my ability to speak. The flavor is mildly minty, but not strong or distracting so I am generally unaware of them once I begin. Just be sure to store them securely if you own dogs or carry them in your pocket or purse since I understand that xylitol is highly toxic to dogs. 5They work! It is my habit to read the negative reviews to see if there is an aspect that will be intolerable. When a magazine had an ad for a sample, it was a no-brainer. After trying the product for nearly a week with excellent results every night and waking up with a moist mouth every morning, I was hooked. It is puzzling that reviewers said there was slime--not so. Some said they taste awful, but there is NO taste. Some said they were uncomfortable; perhaps they are being used improperly. After about 20 seconds there is no longer a noticeable feeling in the mouth. Probably the reviewers who said it helped them despite Sjogren's or post chemo should be the gold standard as evidence of product efficacy. These are definitely worth trying! I am recommending them all over the place. 5Too Expensive These are okay but way too expensive, unfortunately. I don t quite understand why there are 80 in the box when they could have added just 10 more to make it a 3 month supply. Oh well...they do help with dry mouth at night and you only really need one, not two. Two disolve at the same rate...don t last all night long, so one is sufficient. And using two at night wouldn t last very long (about $18/mo). 3Dry mouth relief without the mint taste - Win/Win!! OMG, Thank you, OraCoat! I'm not sure why so many mouth wetting products are mint flavored, but I'm glad to have found one that helps that is not.I may be in the minority but having had treatments for oral cancer, my taste buds are not firing on all cylinders, if you know what I mean. Mint tastes awful to me right now (wasn't my favorite before). I was putting up with the terrible taste of XyliMelts normal minty flavored discs because they actually help. Most of my saliva glands seem to have died a painful death by radiation, so any help is greatly appreciated, even if it tastes bad.Now that I've found these mint free xylimelts, I'm so happy. The only downside is I'm using more of them because I don't have to choose either an uncomfortably dry mouth or a terrible taste in my mouth.Thank you! Thank you! 5Really convenient! My dentist recommended I use these and I've found them very helpful. I always carry water around with me because I get dry mouth so much. These keep my mouth moist when I can't have water. Dentist says it is better than water for my teeth. The non mint one is really great, since I don't like mint. 5Best Dry Mouth Remedy I am using a cpap and have for several years. I also have pulmonary hypertension. The pulmonary doctor gave me a prescription to boast my energy and it caused very dry mouth at night on my cpap. First I thought my mouth was coming open as I slept so I got a chin strap. Didn't help. Next I went to Biotene toothpaste and mouthwash. It helped a small amount. I added Biotene gel and Act lozenges. Still dealing with dry mouth issues. My sleep apnea doctor said that it was probably caused by medication and to stop taking meds. Bad idea, Energy gone if I stopped the meds. I read online that someone with the same problem was using XyliMelts and that it cured the problem so I thought what was there to lose. To my great surprise it really did work. I put one on each side of mouth between gums and cheek when I go to bed. If I wake up in the middle of the night I usually add another one. It has completely cured my dry mouth. I have bought hundreds of things on internet but this is my first review. I hope it helps someone else. 5
